Monmouth County Underdogsa registered NJ non-profit

The Monmouth County Underdogs aims to enrich the lives of animals by advocating positive, reward based training techniques and tools through education and philanthropic initiatives. We provide financial support, advocacy, and educational resources to local rescue organizations which embrace and promote a positive training philosophy. Our educational and advocacy efforts are largely focused on challenging the commonly held misconceptions and stereotypes wrongly associated with pit bulls and pit bull type dogs. Consequently, we are particularly affable to supporting rescue organizations that positively promote bully breeds.

"The capacity for love that makes dogs such rewarding companions has a flip-side: They find it difficult to cope without us. Since we humans programmed this vulnerability, it's our responsibility to ensure that our dogs do not suffer as a result."
